Tonight Breakwater Remembers Brian McNeil

As we watch the sunset fall upon the waters of Lake Champlain this evening to the grand sounds of the Starline Rhythm Boys, we will remember long time patron, father, brother and friend Brian McNeil. There was always a smile, a laugh, and a story whenever Brian was down here. We will never forget his kindness, his ability to make others enjoy life around him, and his undying spirit through the rough times he faced. Brian McNeil will always and forever be known as "The Mayor of Breakwater!" For those of us whose lives he touched, he will remain in our hearts as so much more. Thank you Brian for all of your years of dedication to this community and for all of the wondrous seasons you spent down here with us on the waterfront, sharing your spirit with your Breakwater family! We love you very much and will always miss you!

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
May the rains fall soft upon your fields,
And, until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.
