Baby, we're back!

It's been just about two weeks since we were able to open our doors again and welcome the world back to Breakwater Cafe, and we couldn't be any happier that summer is finally here and that we get to share it with all of you! Our lake is a beautiful one, but her record level flood waters this spring gave us and many other families and businesses the roller-coaster ride of a lifetime. Every cloud has it's silver lining, though, and we would like to make it known how much we appreciate the constant pouring of support and concern that we received from our customers, colleagues, and peers as we did everything in our power to save our restaurant during the flood. The water finally receded after almost two months, and within ten days we were able to welcome you back with open arms! This was made possible only by the hard work and impassioned determination of our staff and vendors, and without the dedication of our customers our opening week wouldn't have been nearly as fantastic as it has been - A very sincere thank you to each and every one of you, we couldn't have done this alone!

 
All that said, the sun has been shining and the masses have found us once again! We can't wait to share our waterfront with you, so come on down and see what we're all about... because Baby, we're back!
